ABOUT US
My name is Jadi Kindred and I founded Accent Unique Inc. in 2011 as a result of several interactions with francophones who told me they wanted to learn English from a native English-speaking teacher. After volunteering my time and realizing the positive impact I was providing, I dedicated my time to become a full-time entrepreneur. I know from experience how difficult it can be to learn a foreign language, especially as an adult.
Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Canada, I spent months in Central America learning to speak Spanish. Then, after college, I moved to Quebec in 2008 without knowing a word of French. During the first two years of residing in Quebec, I experienced “culture shock” and struggled with leisure and employment. After 6 months of intensive, full-time French courses in Montreal, Quebec, I had the confidence to start a business and live in Quebec permanently. My whole world opened to new possibilities by learning different languages and I hope yours will too! I most enjoy teaching English to entrepreneurs because entrepreneurs understand that learning another language is a vital investment for their business. My most sincere wish is to continue to give people all the tools they need for success in accomplishing their dreams.

Our Approach |
Accent Unique offers you flexibility! You may choose classes for 2 to 20 hours per week with 4 to 12- month contracts. Our qualified English teachers have TESOL certificate training or University education and years of experience teaching.
After an initial assessment to determine your language skills and goals, you will be matched with an English speaking teacher who will provide oral and written exercises, conversations, work-related scenarios, and homework. The teaching method is based on Communicative Language Teaching, which means learners converse about personal experiences, and instructors teach topics outside of the realm of traditional grammar, in order to promote language skills in all types of situations.
